About Mark
Mark Hummel has called Lawrence home since 1988, when he moved here to attend the University of Kansas. After graduating, he built a life and career rooted in service. For 30 years, he worked with Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical, responding to emergencies and supporting the community he deeply values.
After retiring from public service, Mark realized he wasn’t ready to slow down. Real estate offered the perfect way to stay active and continue making a difference. With a passion for teamwork and a calm, steady approach, Mark is committed to helping others navigate big decisions with confidence and care.
He and his wife have been married for over 30 years and raised their family right here in town. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active, and keeping up with KU sports. He’s proud to bring his experience and dedication to his role at Stephens Real Estate.
