A Pop of Yellow
Yellow has always been our favorite color. We love it so much we plant it in yards all over Lawrence. But ever since Pantone chose the cheerful shade “Illuminating” as one of its 2021 Colors of the Year, this bold color is lighting up homes everywhere. Yellow commands attention and is often used as an accent color in throw pillows or rugs. It also makes for a great color pop in outdoor living spaces.
Yellows are used for a high-contrast look in today’s white or gray home designs. A yellow jar or vase filled with fresh greenery, a bright yellow serving piece, or a yellow chair gives your space a great focal point.
It’s a bold color so use it sparingly to avoid overpowering a room.
But in small doses – and Stephens yard signs – yellow is just the ray of sunshine to spark interest and brighten up your home.
